Pickup Location The client must proceed directly to the rental office located at: 2901 SE 6th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

A grace period of sixty (60) minutes from the scheduled drop-off time indicated on the rental voucher will be permitted. Customers experiencing delays are required to notify the rental branch as soon as possible. Failure to provide notice and exceeding the grace period may result in the rental being extended at the prevailing daily rate, rather than the original booking rate. One-Way Rentals One-way rentals are not permitted unless prior authorization has been obtained at the rental counter. Out-of-Hours Returns and Collections For out-of-hours returns, customers are required to deposit the vehicle keys in the designated key drop box. The rental agreement will be formally closed on the next business day. Out-of-hours vehicle collections are not permitted.

Fuel Policy (Same-to-Same) A same-to-same fuel policy applies. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as recorded at the time of pickup. If the vehicle is returned with a lower fuel level, the renter will be charged for: Fuel replacement Refueling service fee Fuel supplied by the rental provider will be charged at rates higher than local pump prices. Any unused fuel is non-refundable.

Our Role as a Broker and Agent YORK Car Rental acts solely as a broker and agent, providing a car rental affiliate reservation system for the convenience of you, the customer, and the locally owned and operated rental companies. We arrange and confirm your vehicle reservation with a local rental provider, but we do not supply the vehicle ourselves. When you make a booking through us, you will enter into a direct rental agreement with the rental company at the time of vehicle collection. The terms, conditions, and applicable laws governing the rental will be those set out in the rental contract presented at the rental location. In the event of any conflict between these Booking Terms and the rental company’s terms, the supplier’s terms will take precedence in relation to the vehicle rental itself. We use reasonable commercial efforts to ensure the accuracy of all information published on our website or distributed through third-party platforms; however, we cannot guarantee that all details are free from errors or omissions. Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of rental charges paid to us. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact us. A maximum of two (2) additional drivers may be authorized under this rental agreement. An additional driver fee of $48.12 per rental will apply. All additional drivers must be present at the time of vehicle pickup and provide valid documentation, including a current driver’s licence and any other identification required by the rental provider.

Accepted Forms of Payment The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Diners Club. Cash and prepaid cards (including, but not limited to, Cash App and Venmo cards) are not accepted. If a debit card is used to pay for rental charges, a debit card processing fee will apply. Security Deposit A refundable security deposit of up to $1,000.00 USD will be required for all rentals and must be authorized on a major credit card. Debit cards may be accepted for the security deposit only with valid proof of insurance, and additional fees may apply. In the event of an accident, the security deposit may be retained until full payment is received from the customer’s insurance provider or the renter. Taxes and Fees A local tax of 7%, along with location surcharges and vehicle licensing fees, are included in the quoted rental price. Airport concession fees are not included in the quoted price. While every effort is made to present pricing inclusive of applicable taxes, additional local taxes and fees may be applied by the rental provider on optional extras (such as equipment or age-related surcharges). These charges are determined by local authorities and suppliers and are subject to change without prior notice.

Mileage Policy Unlimited mileage applies to all rentals except where the renter qualifies as a local renter. Local renters are subject to a mileage restriction of 50 miles per day. Additional mileage charges may apply for any distance traveled beyond the permitted daily limit.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not included in the rental price and is not offered by the rental provider. A fee of $19.99 per rental will apply, and customers are required to provide their own CDW coverage. Acceptable CDW coverage may be provided through a valid credit card, personal auto insurance, or a third-party booking platform. Please note that third-party website insurance covers CDW only. Third Party Liability (TPL) insurance must be purchased separately at the rental counter. Accepted Personal Insurance Customers choosing to use their own insurance must present valid proof of coverage at the time of pickup. Documentation must include the policy number, coverage limits, effective dates, and match the renter’s full name and address. Only policies issued by the following U.S. providers are accepted: State Farm, Liberty Mutual, GEICO, Progressive, and USAA. Insurance must include, at minimum, state-required liability coverage as well as comprehensive, collision, flood, and loss-of-use coverage for rental vehicles. Policies must remain valid for at least forty-five (45) days from the rental start date. Insurance issued outside of the United States (including Canada and Puerto Rico) will not be accepted. Credit Card / Third-Party Insurance CDW coverage provided by a credit card or third-party booking platform is accepted; however, such coverage does not include Third Party Liability. Customers must therefore purchase Third Party Liability (TPL) coverage at the rental counter, with a minimum coverage of $500,000 USD. TPL is available at a cost ranging from $24.99 to $50.00 USD per day, excluding applicable taxes. Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) Supplemental Liability Insurance is optional and available for purchase at the rental counter at a rate of $24.99 USD per day, excluding taxes. Theft Waiver (TW) Theft protection is not included in the rental price. Tire and Glass Insurance (TGI) Tire and Glass Insurance is not included in the rental price but may be purchased at the rental counter for $9.99 USD per day, excluding taxes. Mechanical Breakdown and Roadside Assistance Mechanical Breakdown Cover is included in the rental price. Roadside assistance for incidents resulting from driver negligence (including, but not limited to, improper fueling, driver fault accidents, flat tires, or low battery) is not included. This coverage may be purchased at the rental counter for $6.99 USD per day, excluding taxes. Coverage Exclusions Where applicable, CDW or similar coverage generally does not extend to damage involving windows, tires, roof, underside, or interior of the vehicle, nor does it cover towing charges or damage resulting from negligent, willful, or reckless behavior. Additionally, loss or damage to items such as keys, vehicle documents, manuals, accessories, tool kits, registration plates, or any interior/exterior components is not covered. Accident Procedure In the event of an accident, the customer must return the vehicle along with a valid police report and a claim number (if using personal insurance). Any applicable damage fees will be assessed at the rental counter based on the condition of the vehicle. Failure to provide a police report will render any purchased or provided insurance coverage null and void. Other Products Partial Damage Waiver (PDW) and CDW Deductible (CDWD) are not offered.

The minimum age required to rent and operate a vehicle is 21 years. The maximum permitted age for drivers under this rental agreement is 80 years.

International border crossings are strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy may result in penalties, as well as the immediate voiding of all coverage and protection products associated with the rental agreement.

Toll Program All vehicles are equipped with corporate EZ-Pass transponders. Personal toll transponders are not permitted for use. Customers must select one of the following toll options at the time of rental: Option 1 – Unlimited Toll Coverage: $19.99 USD per day, includes all toll usage. Option 2 – EZ-Pass Service Only: $14.99 USD per day, plus all toll charges incurred. Option 3 – Decline Toll Program: Customers who decline the toll program are fully responsible for all toll charges and any associated administrative fees.

Optional Extras Additional equipment and services are available upon request and subject to availability at the time of vehicle pickup. All applicable fees must be paid directly to the rental provider at the counter. Customers are responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of optional extras, and applicable penalty charges may apply. Available extras include: Additional Driver: $14.99 USD per day (maximum of three (3) additional drivers permitted) Booster Cushion (approx. 65–100 lbs / 7–12 years): $9.99 USD per day Child Booster Seat (approx. 40–100 lbs / 4–12 years): $9.99 USD per day Infant Seat (approx. 0–20 lbs / 0–12 months): $9.99 USD per day Toddler Seat (approx. 20–40 lbs / 1–3 years): $9.99 USD per day Navigation System (GPS): $9.99 USD per day Cancellations Reservations must be cancelled at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup may be subject to a fee of up to $50.00 USD. Rental Extensions Requests to extend the rental period must be made directly with the rental provider and are subject to vehicle availability and applicable market rates at the time of extension.
