You may call 226 227 2277 for further information. Directions to the LINK Train: Terminal 1; Train platform is located on Level 5 of the Terminal 1 Parking Garage. Take the West Pedestrian Bridge to the parking garage to get to the train platform from the terminal. Terminal 3; Train platform is located in the Terminal 3 Sheraton hotel pedestrian bridge. To access the train platform from the terminal, go to Level 3 of Terminal 3 and follow the signs up the escalator/elevator to the Sheraton hotel.

All drivers must be a minimum of 23 years of age and must present a valid driver’s license at the time of rental. Drivers aged 23 to 25 are subject to an underage surcharge of $25.00 CAD per day, plus applicable taxes. Drivers licensed in Ontario are required to hold a full G license and must maintain a satisfactory driving record. The renter must provide a valid major credit card in their own name, along with a third government-issued photo identification, at the time of rental. A surcharge of $14.95 per day shall apply to renters holding a probationary license. Renters and drivers from countries outside of the United States and Canada must present a valid driver’s license issued by their country of origin at the time of rental. A valid passport is also required. Where the driver’s license is not in the Roman alphabet, an International Driving Permit must be provided. The renter must present three (3) forms of identification, including a valid driver’s license, a major credit card in the renter’s name, and a third government-issued photo identification.

Our Role as a Broker and Agent YORK Car Rental acts solely as a broker and agent, providing a car rental affiliate reservation system for the convenience of you, the customer, and the locally owned and operated rental companies. We arrange and confirm your vehicle reservation with a local rental provider, but we do not supply the vehicle ourselves. When you make a booking through us, you will enter into a direct rental agreement with the rental company at the time of vehicle collection. The terms, conditions, and applicable laws governing the rental will be those set out in the rental contract presented at the rental location. In the event of any conflict between these Booking Terms and the rental company’s terms, the supplier’s terms will take precedence in relation to the vehicle rental itself. We use reasonable commercial efforts to ensure the accuracy of all information published on our website or distributed through third-party platforms; however, we cannot guarantee that all details are free from errors or omissions. Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of rental charges paid to us. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact us. Additional driver fee is $9.99 CAD per day plus taxes.

We accept American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover as forms of payment. At the time of rental, an authorization will be placed on your credit card for the estimated rental amount plus 25%, or a minimum of $1,000 CAD. This deposit may be higher for long-term rentals. Stored-value, prepaid, gift, or electronic cards are not accepted to qualify for a rental. Debit cards without a Mastercard or Visa logo are not accepted at the start of the rental but may be used for payment. A minimum security deposit of $2,500 CAD is required for all Premium, Luxury, or Specialty vehicles. For prepaid reservations made with a debit card, a valid credit card in the renter’s name is still required at pickup for the security deposit. Customers without a credit card will not be able to rent a vehicle.

FUEL OPTIONS Buy a Tank Your vehicle is supplied with a full tank of fuel. You may pre-purchase a full tank at the time of rental and return the vehicle at any fuel level. No refund or credit will be provided for unused fuel. We Refuel Your vehicle is supplied with a full tank of fuel. Return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid additional charges. If returned less than full, we will refuel the vehicle and charge for the fuel used plus a refueling service fee per litre.

Mileage is limited to 200 free kilometers per day, or 1,400 free kilometers per week (applied when your rental is 7 days or longer). For rentals longer than 14 days, the maximum free mileage is capped at 3,000 kilometers per rental. Any kilometers driven in excess of the applicable free allowance will be charged at a rate of $0.20 CAD per kilometer. Vehicles taken into the United States are subject to a border crossing fee of $12.95 CAD per day.

At this location, you must provide proof of valid insurance covering collision, bodily injury, and property liability that extends to rental vehicles at the time of rental. Proof must clearly show the insurer’s name, policy number, and insurer address. We offer Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) for $29.95 CAD per day, with a $2,000 CAD deductible. We also offer Glass & Tire Protection for $9.95 CAD per day, with a $500 CAD deductible. If you purchase CDW, we waive a portion of our right to recover costs for damage to the rental vehicle resulting from collision or upset. Coverage limits and customer responsibility may vary depending on the vehicle category rented. Please note that CDW does not cover comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or other acts of nature. A complete list of exclusions is outlined on the reverse side of the Rental Agreement. Some credit cards or third-party online insurance providers may offer Collision Damage Waiver benefits. However, these typically do not include comprehensive coverage, which is required for all rental vehicles. Credit card or online-provided coverage generally applies only to CDW. If relying on credit card or third-party coverage, an additional surcharge of $11.95 CAD per day will apply.

Vehicles cannot be used as a ride-sharing, Uber, Lyft, or any other commercial transportation use.

If traveling outside of the Province, free kilometers are restricted to 200 free per day, 1,400 per week with a maximum of 3,000 free kilometers on any rental. Access kilometers are charged at 0.20 cents CAD for each additional kilometer driven during your rental. Vehicles entering the USA are subject to a border crossing fee of $12.95 CAD per day and kilometers are limited to 200 KM per day, 1400 KM per week with a maximum of 3,000 free kilometers on any rental and .20 cents CAD for each additional kilometer.

The renter is responsible for all parking tickets, traffic violations, and toll charges incurred during the rental period. A $50.00 service fee will apply per ticket or violation, in addition to any fines, tolls, or related charges. A toll transponder (service fee waiver) is available at pickup to help avoid additional service fees related to toll usage.

The driver must present a valid drivers license, credit card & a third piece of government issued photo identification in their name upon pick-up. A credit card is required as a deposit when renting any vehicle. A minimum of $1000.00 CAD deposit is held by the car rental company. Please ensure sufficient funds are available on the card. International rentals may have different driver license requirements. An international driving license is required if the driver's license is non-roman alphabet. Additional charges or restrictions apply for drivers under the age of 25. Charges for refueling, additional drivers, etc. are not included in the total price. Special equipment, such as child seats and GPS, can be purchased upon pick-up (if available). Your rental may have local insurance requirements that result in additional charges at the time of rental. The time and mileage or daily rate is subject to change, or a surcharge may be assessed, if the vehicle is returned before or after the due date or to a location other than the renting location. There are no refunds for early returns. The reservation is held for 2 hours after the reserved time. Please contact the location directly for any flight delays. If location is informed of any delays, vehicles can be held as per the availability. Grace Period: Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The customer receives a 59-minute grace period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, the extra day rate will apply from minute one. Location maintains a smoke free fleet. Smoking of any kind (cigarette, cigar, pipe, etc.) is prohibited in our rental vehicles. You will be assessed a cleaning fee of $200.00 CAD if the vehicle is returned smelling of smoke or littered with ashes. Prepaid reservations are charged in full at the time of booking. The same credit card used for payment must be presented at pickup. All prepaid bookings are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or missed pickup times. Missed reservations cannot be modified and will be automatically cancelled. PAY ON ARRIVAL RESERVATIONS: A no-show or late cancellation fee equal to one day’s rental plus taxes (minimum USD $50.00) will apply if the reservation is not picked up as scheduled. To avoid this fee, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled pickup time and must be completed through the same website where the reservation was made. Cancellations made by phone or email will not be accepted.
